Omega Fish Oil
Omega Fish Oil is a wonderful capsule. They contain omega-3fatty acids, which are good for skin and hair care. It helps with heart disease, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, low immunity, cancer, diabetes, inflammation, arthritis, skin care and hair care, to name a few. It is a great nutritional supplement with many benefits.
It works well when taken internally. However, you can also use topically. The capsules have the oil inside. When you make a small slice in the capsule the oil will be released.
You can apply fish oil directly to your hair, skin or scalp. You can work in the oil into the scalp and hair. Leave on for 20 minutes then shampoo as usual. It leaves your hair moisturized, manageable and shiny!
For skin care, you can apply fish oil directly on the wrinkles or problem area. It adds extra hydration to the skin, leaving it soft and supple. (Most fish oil capsules do have a little smell to them.)
Many uses from one little capsule!

My friend MarieTherese Valarao
Of course, I ask her about her secrets of maintaining young, fabulous looking skin! From MarieTherese:
- Thanks, Nat, for your compliment. I use a lot of common sense. I keep things simple. I read a lot, do research, so I know what's good for the body (and the soul) :)
It is good to sleep at least seven hours, better if eight hours. I use almond oil for skin (sparingly). My favorite fruits are: oranges and apples (the small "Gala" ones). I drink lots of water. I do not overeat and no pork on my diet. I notice my skin gets oily and uneven in tone. Oh, avoid getting angry :)
uh-oh, I know it's not easy, but you can avoid it and pray about it. And yes!, genetics play a big part. Mom looked very young when she was in her mid and late forties. It looks like I exceeded the years because I am now in my mid-sixties (64 going on 65), and a big factor also is avoiding too much sun exposure. I used sunblock before, but now I avoid, as much as I can I avoid chemicals on my skin (due to cancer reports, yay!!)
Okay, let me add one more thing: I used to wash my face with warm water. Then I found out that cold water makes our skin radiant! Thus, I now use cold water. Also, I do not scrub my face. Be gentle with your skin, my friend. Tap, tap, tap. It is good for your face. Bye now!! God Bless!! :)
Thank you, thank you, my friend MarieTherese! You have given us some very useful information! I greatly appreciate it! You look like a radiant, beautiful young 29!
God Bless!

Women of Dubai...
What is their secret?
Olive Oil! I have posted about Olive Oil before. It is popular in several parts of the world. It is versatile and has many uses.
Some women of Dubai use Olive Oil on dry patches of skin, such as elbows, knees and heels.
They also use is on their scalp and hair. They warm a little bit of Olive Oil and massage it into their scalp and hair. Cover hair with a towel or plastic bag and leave on for about 30 min. Olive Oil becomes a wonderful hot oil treatment!
Love the moisture and hydration from Olive Oil!

Barbary Fig Oil
Barbary Fig Oil comes from the flowers of the cactus fig, (Opuntia ficus indica cactus). The flowers, are a reddish, purple fruit that have seeds inside. The seeds are dried and pressed to make the oil. The flowers produce such little oil, that it takes approximately 30 kilos to make 1 liter of this oil. This simple fact makes this an expensive oil! Originally it grew in Mexico and now is being successfully grown in Morocco.
Skincare
This oil is known for wonderful anti-aging and anti-oxidants benefits. It reduces the number and depth of wrinkles. It is known to help repair, re-structure, firm and heal the skin. It moisturizes, hydrates and penetrates the skin quickly, leaving no oily residue. It helps stops the aging of cells and helps with their renewal. Works great on nails, as well!
Hair care
This oil is known to work beautifully with restoring hair back to healthy growth. It can be used on the scalp or hair ends. It hydrates and replenishes the moisture lost in the hair from environmental elements such as chlorine, sun, wind, etc.
Known as a pricey oil, but well worth it! A little goes a long way!

Stress!
Election Day is upon us, followed shortly by the holidays! Added stress, to our already busy, stressful lives! What can this added stress do to you?
Stress can lower your immune system, causing health issues. It can cause gastrointestinal or psychological issues. Stress can cause tension, which leads to other physical ailments. It can cause excessive hair loss and wrinkles!
Respect yourself and relax! Get out and exercise, or escape for some meditation or quiet time. Journal or blog your thoughts. Thinking them through can help. Or get a massage! My favorite!
Massages are often thought of as a luxury. However, they are seen in other countries as being therapeutic for controlling illness or helping the sick. In China, there are hospital wings dedicated to massage therapy to help the sick, from cancer patients to new mothers. Health benefits from a massage are many!
Lower your stress, feel better, look better, live longer! Give yourself some respect!
